Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone asks why they shouldn't just book it themselves. How do I answer that?

You answer it the way you do on the phone — by knowing the place well enough to say which side of the island, which week, which room, and what goes wrong. That answer usually never makes it onto your website, which instead says you plan unforgettable journeys, the same thing every advisor says. The Clear View is about getting your actual answer somewhere a stranger can read it before they've spoken to you.

I've built a real specialty, but my website and Instagram say I book everything. Does that hurt?

It makes you harder to recommend. When someone posts in a Facebook group or asks a friend who they should talk to, they're asking for the person who knows a region or a kind of trip — that's how a name gets passed along. A page that covers everything gives nobody a reason to name you. The Clear View shows you where to let the specialty lead and what to do with the rest of the work.

People get confused when I explain my fee. Should I stop charging one?

That's your call, and not what this is. What we look at is where in the conversation the fee shows up and how it's framed. When someone first hears about it on a call, it lands as a surprise; when your site has already explained what the fee covers and what happens before it's due, the same fee is just the shape of working with you. The Clear View also looks at whether supplier logos have crowded out your own name on the page — often they've taken the space where that explanation should be.
