What we keep, and why.
Effective 1 September 2026
Darice Strategies, LLC is a small firm run by its founder. We collect only what we need to do the work you’ve asked for, we keep it in one place, and we never sell it. This page says exactly what that means.
What we collect
Depending on what you do on this site, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and business name — when you buy something, book a call, or send us a message through the contact form.
- Your questionnaire answers — when you complete the questionnaire that opens after a purchase. This is the material we build your work from, so it can include details about your business, your career, and your goals.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe sees your card information; we don’t. We receive a record that you paid, what you bought, and the name and email you gave at checkout.
We don’t ask for anything we won’t use.
Why we collect it
- To deliver what you bought, and to build it around your answers.
- To reply when you write to us, and to schedule a call when you book one.
- To keep a record of purchases, refunds, and credits, so we can honour them.
- To keep the site and its checkout running safely.
We don’t use your information for anything else. We won’t add you to a mailing list because you bought something or sent a message.
Where it’s stored
Questionnaire answers and contact-form messages are stored on infrastructure that Darice Strategies owns and controls, hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United States. Payment records live with Stripe. Booking details live with Calendly.
If you’re outside the United States, your information is transferred here to be processed. By using the site, you’re agreeing to that.
Who sees it
The founder. Darice Strategies is founder-run, and the founder is the person who reads your answers and does the work. There is no team with access to your file.
Three services process information on our behalf, each for one job:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Calendly — scheduling calls.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting the site, the questionnaires, and the email relay that delivers contact-form messages to us.
Each of them handles your information under its own privacy terms. None of them are given your information for their own marketing.
Beyond that, we’d only disclose your information if the law required us to.
How long we keep it
Questionnaire answers are kept for the length of your engagement, plus a reasonable period afterward — long enough to honour your 60-day credit and to answer any question about the work. After that, they’re deleted.
Purchase records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Contact-form messages are kept as long as the conversation is live.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by writing through the contact form. We’ll confirm when it’s done. The one exception is a purchase record we’re legally required to keep.
We don’t sell your data
We have never sold, rented, or traded anyone’s information, and we won’t. Your questionnaire answers are used to build your work and for nothing else.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. The only cookies or browser storage used are essential ones — for example, so a checkout you’ve started can pick up where you left off.
We use our own analytics, built and run by us on our own servers — not a third-party service. It is cookieless. It sets nothing on your device, reads nothing from it, and gives you no identifier to carry between visits.
What it records is a count: the page that was read, the site that referred you, and whether a link such as a sample report or a booking page was clicked. To count how many people visited rather than how many pages were opened, we take a one-way fingerprint of your IP address and browser combined with a secret that we replace every day, and we keep only that fingerprint — your IP address is never stored. Because the daily secret is discarded, the fingerprint cannot be traced back to you, and today’s cannot be linked to yesterday’s. Not by us either.
None of it is sold, shared, or sent to an advertising network, because none of it leaves our own systems.
Children
This site and its services are for adults and businesses. They aren’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us through the contact form and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- You can ask what information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct it.
- You can ask us to delete it.
For any of these, use the contact form. We’ll reply promptly and act on the request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. We won’t apply a change retroactively to information you’ve already given us without telling you.
Questions? Use the contact form — every message is read by the founder, who is also the person responsible for your information.
